Message from Sheriff Wayne Ivey
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – As we awaken to a beautiful Thanksgiving Day, our agency has many things to be thankful for.
We are thankful for our families, our co-workers, our great nation and a community that loves, trusts and protects us just as much as we love, trust and protect them!
You see, our team members truly know just how fortunate we are to serve in Brevard County and we are extremely thankful to have citizens who partner with us to protect our community.
Not a day passes by that a citizen doesn’t tell me how proud they are of our team, and not a day goes by that a member of our team doesn’t share with me a positive interaction they had with one of our citizens.
In over 4 decades as a Law Enforcement Officer, I have never seen a community that watches over and takes pride in their Public Safety members like our citizens do.
So on behalf of the 1,700 proud men and women of our agency, I want to personally thank each member of our community for standing with us, as having your support means the world to us!
