WATCH: The 2021 Merritt Island Holiday Parade is covered by the Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson and guest host Lisa Nicholas. This years parade, coordinated by the Central Area of Brevard County Parks and Recreation, has a “Holiday Movies” theme. The parade starts at Merritt Island High School and ends at Edgewood Junior/Senior High School.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The 2021 Merritt Island Holiday Parade is covered by the Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson and guest host Lisa Nicholas. This years parade, coordinated by the Central Area of Brevard County Parks and Recreation, has a “Holiday Movies” theme. The parade starts at Merritt Island High School and ends at Edgewood Junior/Senior High School.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will close Courtenay Parkway from Grove Boulevard to Merritt Avenue and Merritt Avenue, east to Plumosa Avenue, at 9:30 a.m. until approximately 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 4 for the Merritt Island Holiday Parade.

The traffic will be re-routed to Tropical Trail, SR-520, and SR-528. Motorists wishing to drive through the area are cautioned to allow extra time.
