Weather Conditions 80-Percent Favorable for SpaceX Rocket Launch Thursday from Cape Canaveral

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The 45th Weather Squadron’s latest weather report shows conditions for the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Thursday is 80-percent favorable.

The launch is targeted for 4:49 p.m. ET.

The mission, designated Starlink 4-5, will have around 4,400 satellites on-board to provide high-speed, low-latency broadband connectivity around the world.

Following first stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the booster engine on a drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast Florida.
