Friends of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard to Host CARS 4 KIDS 2022 On April 30

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On Saturday, April 30, the Friends of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard will partner once again with local car enthusiast Mark Pieloch, owner of the American Muscle Car Museum to present CARS 4 KIDS 2022 – it will be an American Graffiti Night of Nostalgia.

“It has been a tough year for many throughout Florida and this nation, especially the children,” said Diane Scott of Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard.

“Reports of child abuse have continued to increase since the pandemic, including cases of child sexual abuse, exploitation, and human trafficking.”

Scott said referrals to the CACB Clinical Intervention Program for therapy for child victims have also increased. The Clinical Intervention Program had to develop a waitlist for therapy services for child victims last year for the first time since the program began in 1997.

“The Friends of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard, our fundraising board, hope to remedy this by raising funds to support the addition of another therapist position at the Children’s Advocacy Center,” said Scott.

“This will be a fun and exciting event. Guests will enjoy the sights and sounds of the 1950s. Feel free to come dressed in your favorite time-period attire, participate in our silent and live auction, with the one and only auctioneer, Sheriff Ivey, and tour the American Muscle Car Museum to view Mark’s extraordinary private collection of over 380 American Classic Cars.
