ORLANDO, FLORIDA (ESPN.COM) – Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris has agreed on a two-year, $26 million contract extension, his agents Austin Brown and Aaron Mintz of CAA Basketball told ESPN’s, Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Magic announced they had reached an extension with Harris on Thursday evening.
Harris, 27, is one of the better guard defenders in the NBA and reestablished his 3-point shot this past season with the rebuilding Magic, shooting 38.4% from behind the 3-point arc on five attempts per game.
It’s the third-best percentage of Harris’ career, and his best since shooting 39.6% in his fourth NBA season in 2018.
