BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Saturday in Brevard County calls for a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 90. The Heat index values will be as high as 103 with east winds of 5 to 10 mph, increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

■ Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 77. East wind around 5 mph.
■ Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
