Since Nicco Restaurant opened in Derby it has been receiving rave reviews from customers and critics alike. The restaurant is the brainchild of owner, Sanj Kumar, who wanted to create a contemporary dining experience that combines the best of modern Indian cooking with traditional recipes and flavours.

The menu includes tapas-style dishes, tasty grills, street food and curries. There’s also a full cocktail list which includes some of Nicco signature creations such as The Naughty Nicco or The Charred Chilli and Orange Aperol Spritz.

Since opening, Nicco has been getting great reviews from customers, who love the innovative menu, excellent customer service, friendly staff, and great atmosphere.

Went here for a family meal and I must say it was amazing. To start the restaurant ambiance was just perfect. Loved the decor and how they had laid out the restaurant for the diners. Now onto the food, let me put this simply it is now the restaurant to beat in Derby hands down.

The food was amazing cooked to perfection and the best curry I have had in Derby. Staff were attentive and friendly but as with all good restaurants they never bothered you to much and were their when we needed to order. Fully recommend this restaurant if in the area. 5 stars

Lovely place and amazing food 

Unfortunately my daughter became ill before the food arrived tonight,the restaurant were so accommodating and understanding and said don’t worry we will just cancel their order ! Amazing customer service and support and for us it was never about the money  Thanks Nicco!

First time visit to Nicco but it won’t be the last, lovely venue, pleasant staff, plenty of choices on the menu and very tasty food. Quality evening out with friends, nice lights on the table

Worth Visiting – Lovely Restaurant

Great food & service. Team are very professional and friendly. Been to this restaurant last month with my wife and again with my daughter today. Service was spot on from Laura and Courtney, will be visiting again. The team are doing a great job – nice to see a place like this thriving when all the staff work so hard.

Excellent meal at Nicco last night.  

First visit and my husband and I enjoyed Lamb curry, special rice and chicken takeaway with salad.  Definitely recommend this modern, chic restaurant.

Went on 21st July at lunchtime with my sister,her first visit my 4th,l had boasted about the food and service. It did not disappoint,the welcome was great, food superb and service impeccable. You have certainly got everything spot on, we really enjoyed it and will certainly be telling all our friends and family to visit you.

What a lovely change to go to somewhere and everytime we go it’s wonderful,so thank you all,the manager is great he had a really good rapport with his staff and you can see they love working there,so keep up the good work,you all deserve a massive pat on the back .
