BREVARD COUNTY • BAYSIDE, FLORIDA – The Bayside Bears defeated the Viera Hawks 21-14 in prep football action on Friday night.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and Space Coast Daily’s Juan Rodriguez and JC Meyerholz will be on the call.
The Viera Hawks head south on Friday as they look to capture their first victory of the season.
The Hawks offense will need to get the ball rolling quickly as they’ve struggled to put points on the board all season, which could be a big reason for their unprecedented 0-5 start.
Bayside will look to defend home field after squeezing by last week against the Scorpions, winning that game 7-3.
The Bears defense will look to pick up right where they left off, only allowing 3 points and coming up with 59 total teams tackles in their last outing.
