Homewood Suites 131-Room Property Breaks Ground in Viera’s Borrows West, Hilton Garden Inn to Follow

Hilton Garden Inn is expected to open in the summer of 2024

General Hotels Corporation, in partnership with Weathervane Capital Partners, has begun work at the site of its future Homewood Suites hotel in the prestigious Borrows West development in Viera. Construction, led by Hospitality Project Services, LLC, is expected to be completed in early 2024. This is the first of two hotels planned for Borrows West by this partnership group.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – General Hotels Corporation, in partnership with Weathervane Capital Partners, has begun work at the site of its future Homewood Suites hotel in the prestigious Borrows West development in Viera.

“The 131-room property, to be operated by General Hotels Corporation, will reflect Viera’s warmth and hospitality and be the perfect addition to the 115-acre mixed-use development that will feature corporate offices, medical and professional office buildings, waterfront dining venues, retail, entertainment venues, and multi-family opportunities,” said a company spokesperson.

Construction, led by Hospitality Project Services, LLC, is expected to be completed in early 2024. This is the first of two hotels planned for Borrows West by this partnership group.

Construction will also soon begin for a 208-room Hilton Garden Inn featuring a roof-top bar and generous meeting space. The Hilton Garden Inn is expected to open in the summer of 2024.

General Hotels and Weathervane are currently partnered on another hotel under construction in Estero, Florida, with more hotel projects to come in the state of Florida.

The Homewood Suites Viera will offer a free hot breakfast with healthy options daily, complimentary WiFi, a 24-hour business center and fitness center as well as welcoming exterior guest spaces featuring a swimming pool, patio with fire pit and comfortable seating.

As an extended stay property, each guestroom will include a dinette area and kitchen as well as a pullout sleeper sofa for additional seating and sleeping capacity.
