Merritt Island Mustangs Travel to No. 1 Seed Wesley Chapel for Regional Final Matchup

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRIT T ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Merritt Island Mustangs will travel to No. 1 seed Wesley Chapel on Wednesday for the volleyball Region 2 Regional Final matchup.
The Mustangs (17-7) have cruised through the first two rounds of the Class 5A FHSAA Girls Volleyball State Championships, beating Lecanto (3-1) and Cypress Creek (3-1).
Wednesday’s matchup will present a major challenge for Merritt Island who will meet a Wesley Chapel squad that has won 8-straight games and boasts a 22-5 overall record.
The winner of the matchup will advance to the State Semifinal.
