Satellite Beach Police, Brevard Sheriff’s Office Detectives Conducting ‘Apparent Murder-Suicide’ Investigation

BCSO: two people were found dead in Satellite Beach Friday

The Satellite Beach Police Department, together with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, is conducting a death investigation in connection with an incident that happened Friday in the 100 block of Grant Avenue in Satellite Beach, according to Satellite Beach Police Chief Jeff Pearson.

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – The Satellite Beach Police Department, together with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, is conducting a death investigation in connection with an incident that happened Friday in the 100 block of Grant Avenue in Satellite Beach, according to Satellite Beach Police Chief Jeff Pearson.

Tod Goodyear, the spokesman for the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, said two people were found dead in Satellite Beach Friday after an apparent murder-suicide, and those involved were an older couple.

“At this time, it has been determined that this is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the general public,” said Chief Pearson.
