OBITUARY: Lorene Elizabeth Bacigalupo Wyatt of Satellite Beach, Passed Away at 94 Years Old

spent many years as a 'Pink Lady' volunteering at Health First's Holmes Regional Medical Center

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Lorene Elizabeth Bacigalupo Wyatt of Satellite Beach passed away at 94 years old. She was born and raised in Nashville, TN, and moved to Florida in 1959 and spent the rest of her life there.

Lorene was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, William “Willy” R. Wyatt, her parents, Paul and Rosie Mai Bacigalupo; sisters, Rosie Mai Hedrick, Phyllis Rains and her twin sister Irene Bacigalupo; brothers Charles, Roy & John Bacigalupo; Son-in-law Paul Mey.

She is survived by her four children, sons Bill (Mary) Wyatt, David (Karin) Wyatt; daughters Karen (Dewey) Moody, Suzy Mey.

Grandchildren: Elizabeth and Brian (Simply) Wyatt, Shannon (Jeremy) Jones, Bret (Stephanie) Johnson, Cody (Tiffany) Mey.

Great-Grandchildren: Zachary, Andrew, and Lilly Jones; Reid Johnson and Abigail Mey; Brother Phillip (Mary) Bacigalupo; as well as many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends and neighbors.

Lorene was determined to receive her college degree, and she did just that. After raising her children, she returned to school and earned a bachelor’s degree in early education from UCF.

Lorene and her husband spent four years living in Saudi Arabia and traveled the world together, as well as in all 50 states.

She was an avid bowler and beat us all soundly until well in her 80s and spent many years as a “Pink Lady” volunteering at Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.
