Cocoa Beach Kite and Beach Fest Set Jan. 20-22 at Coconuts on the Beach

January weather in Florida is ideal for kites, with mild temperatures and steady winds, perfect for the Sport Kite Competition and Festival, which will be held during the Cocoa Beach Friday Fest set from January 20 through January 22.  In conjunction with the outdoor kite-flying, there will be a very special VIP event featuring dinner and drinks, a silent auction, and an indoor Kite Ballet on Saturday night. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — January weather in Florida is ideal for kites, with mild temperatures and steady winds, perfect for the Sport Kite Competition and Festival, which will be held during the Cocoa Beach Friday Fest set from January 20 through January 22.

Kite flying will be held on the beach by Coconuts on the Beach on Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Spectators are welcome to watch the talented kite flyers performing to music with large spectacular kites on the beach behind Coconuts on the Beach all day Saturday and Sunday. This is a free, family-friendly event and weather permitting.
