By Space Coast Daily // January 29, 2023
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Share your Memorial with family and friends in loving memory of my husband, Terry Ted Pennick, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 78 years old.
He passed away very peacefully, and he is no longer suffering.
He was the devoted husband of Sharon Pennick, and loving father of Nicole Fulps and her husband (Jon Fulps), Chad Pennick and his wife (Christy Pennick), and Gregg Boothe and his wife (Madilyn Boothe).
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. One of the kindest souls on this planet, he was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed.
He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage. Early in life, he learned the importance of hard work and he instilled that same work ethic in us.
He was always there for us, with whatever we needed. He was a man of strong faith and he taught us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. He was a true role model who we will always look up to.
Terry was born in Wichita, Kansas, and was preceded in death by parents Olin & Ruth Pennick and his older brother Jack Pennick. Terry graduated from Southeast High School, and in his youth, he was a competitive speed skater and traveled around the U.S. in competitions.
He met Sharon in 1967 in Wichita, Kansas, and they were later married on November 29th, 1969. Terry and Sharon celebrated 53 years of marriage this last anniversary.
Terry was an excellent provider for his family. He worked for the railroad and later took a job with Hawker Beechcraft until he retired.
He was a proud grandfather of Hannah (17) and Eli Fulps (12), Cashton Pennick (11), Lauren Boothe (17), Megan Norman (27), Vail Walker (25), and Geremy St. James (29). The grandkids called him “Papa”, and they always loved joking around and being silly with him. Terry was such a jokester and loved to make people laugh. Anyone who was blessed to know Terry, knew he loved his family, Jesus, camping/boating/fishing, a good Nuway burger, and most importantly the Kansas Chiefs. Terry leaves us a legacy of faith and Jesus.
Terry, you are now at peace and resting in the arms of Jesus, but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
