OBITUARY: Larry D. Bolinger, a Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, Passed Away Surrounded by Family

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — On Monday, January 30, 2023, Larry D. Bolinger, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away surrounded by family. He was 62 years old.

Born to Doris and Phillip Bolinger in OH. He grew up in Phoenixville, PA. In 1982 he started his own business, Center City Steaks and Pizza in Spring City, PA.

While running his business, he was able to do what he loved, talking and listening to others. He was able to touch so many people’s lives through this business and continued to do so following his retirement in 2019.

By his side, the whole time, was his wife, Patricia Bolinger, of 32 years.

They went on to have three children, Justine, Jared, and Brandon. He had two grandchildren, Riley and Ari, with a granddaughter on the way. After having children, Larry soon became very passionate about their interests.

He volunteered his free time with youth football and cheerleading at Norchester Red Knights and Bert Bell. He helped the Owen J Roberts Athletic Association and Bucktown Boosters. He loved being actively involved.

In recent years Larry and Patricia moved to Melbourne, Florida to enjoy the warm weather.

Larry soon found his way to donating his time to the community where he lived. He became the treasurer of the homeowners association. In Florida, he enjoyed watching the space shuttles launch, the military air shows, and sitting outside on his patio.

He also loved watching his grandchildren any chance he could, from the sports they played to enjoying time with them at theme parks.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Bolinger, his brother, Steven Bolinger, and his sister, Barbara Peeples. He leaves behind his wife, Patricia Bolinger; children, Justine Signore and husband Anthony, Jared Bolinger, Brandon Bolinger, and wife Caitlyn; grandchildren, Riley and Ari; mother, Doris Bolinger; siblings, Cindy Bolinger, Craig Bolinger and wife Susan, Jon Peeples, Kathleen Carter, and husband Mark; and many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 20, at the First United Methodist Church, 865 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
