Weather Conditions 95% Favorable for SpaceX Starlink Rocket Launch Thursday from Cape Canaveral

SpaceX is targeting Sunday, February 23, at 1:37 p.m. ET (05:10 UTC) for a Falcon 9 launch of 55 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is targeting Thursday, February 23, at 1:37 p.m. ET (05:10 UTC) for a Falcon 9 launch of 55 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

Weather conditions for the the launch are 95-percent favorable, according to the 45th Weather Squadron.

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched GPS III Space Vehicle 04, GPS III Space Vehicle 05, Inspiration4, Ax-1, Nilesat 301, and six Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
