BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is targeting Thursday, March 9 at 2:13 p.m. ET (19:13 UTC) for Falcon 9’s launch of the the OneWeb Launch 17 mission to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch 40 satellites into orbit for OneWeb, which is developing and deploying a constellation of hundreds of satellites in low Earth orbit for low-latency broadband communications.
Falcon 9’s first stage booster will attempt to land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
