UPDATE Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Melbourne Police Locate Missing/ Endangered Adult Shannon Lytle

Melbourne Police announced on Tuesday that Shannon was located by deputies with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police announced on Tuesday that Shannon was located by deputies with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

The deputies notified Melbourne Police Department who responded. Shannon was transported to a medical facility and the Purple Alert was cancelled.

On Tuesday, around 5 a.m., police say Shannon was able to abscond the facility during treatment.

“At this time, an Attempt to Contact Well Being Check has been issued for Shannon,” said a Melbourne Police spokesperson. “Anyone who observes Shannon should notify local law enforcement or contact the Melbourne Police Department at 321-608-6371.”
