Titusville Police Honors Jacob Weaver as Officer of the Year During Annual Award Ceremony

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville Police Department held its annual 2022 Awards Ceremony earlier this month at the Indian River Preserve Golf Club in Mims.

The Titusville Police Department’s 2022 Award Winners are as follows:

■ Officer of the Year, Officer Jacob Weaver.

■ Detective of the Year, Detective Brandon Williams.

■ Supervisor of the Year, Lieutenant Telly Joiner.

■ 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator of the Year, 911 PST Sara Arias.

■ Civilian Employee of the Year, PAC/PIO Amy Matthews.

■ Jack H. Schnell Traffic Safety Officer of the Year, Officer Marco Innarelli.

■ Outstanding Rookie of the Year, Officer Darian Kraeuter.

■ School Crossing Guard of the Year, Al Scharmer.

■ Volunteer of the Year, Michelle DeVoss.

■ Community Watch Volunteer of the Year, Dennis Motyka.

The 2022 Award Winners were selected by a diverse committee of department members that reviewed numerous nominations submitted by police department team members.

In addition, Titusville Police Department Officer of the Year recipient Jacob Weaver will be recognized in late April at the Brevard County Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Awards Banquet.

“Our citizens can be very proud of the outstanding team members serving our Community,” said Deputy Chief Hutchinson.”
