BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Well folks it’s time for this week’s episode of “Methed Up and Found Out” as this past Saturday morning, Deputy David Guzman arrested Michell Cannon and her daughter Jazmine Cannon for being “Methed Up”.

So our story starts with Michell and her daughter Jazmine, who were just “mething around” as they traveled in the area of U.S. 1 and Palm St., in Port St. John, and got stopped by Deputy Guzman because the tag on their car was “methed up” since it was expired!!

During the stop Deputy Guzman, with assistance from Deputy Darien Fedro, observed drug paraphernalia in plain view within the vehicle and during a further search of the vehicle, discovered a small lock box near the driver’s seat where Michell Cannon had been seated.

Upon examining the contents of the lock box, a clear sandwich bag with a large amount of a crystal-like substance was located inside, along with weighing scales and numerous items of drug paraphernalia, that were also located in the vehicle!!

Deputies Guzman and Fedro both looked at each other and said “man that’s methed up” as the crystal-like substance field tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed approximately 17.6 grams. Also located were several used syringes and one specific syringe that contained a yellowish liquid which later field tested positive for Fentanyl.

As Deputy Guzman continued the investigation he determined that the aforementioned items belonged to Michell Cannon and since we don’t “meth around” with drug dealers here in Brevard County, Michell Cannon was transported to “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” on a total bond of $34,000 for Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Fentanyl, Driving While License Suspended With Knowledge, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

And if all that wasn’t “methed up” enough for you, a search of the passenger, Jazmine Cannon, revealed that she had a little less than a gram of methamphetamine hidden in her bra and a used syringe in her pants.

Jazmine Cannon was subsequently booked at the lodge on a total bond of $2,500 for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On a positive note, Michell and Jazmine qualified for the “family plan” at the “Iron Bar Lodge” which doesn’t really do anything for you other than get you a framed “family booking photo” which makes for a great conversation piece during the holidays!!

If you don’t think we will lock your butt up for being a drug dealer in Brevard County…just “Meth Up and Find Out!!”
