Telisha Griffin-Harris of Rockledge Presented National Employment Award for Outstanding Achievement

Through Brevard Achievement Center, Telisha works as a Food Service Worker at Patrick Space Force Base
BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Rockledge resident Telisha Griffin-Harris, was awarded the William M. Usdane Award for her outstanding achievement and exceptional character.
Through the Brevard Achievement Center, Telisha started working as a Food Service Worker for an AbilityOne contract at Patrick Space Force Base.
Over the past five years, Telisha’s motivation and work ethic helped her excel and quickly advance in her position. She is celebrated for her friendly attitude and outstanding customer service to military personnel and patrons.
SourceAmerica’s National Achievement Awards raise awareness of the strengths and contributions of workers with disabilities, especially when approximately 60% of working-age people with disabilities do not have jobs.
“This is a great story of Telisha’s uplifting example of disability employment and SourceAmerica’s mission to both employers interested in hiring employees with disabilities and employees with disabilities seeking work,” said a Brevard Achievement Center spokesperson.
