Palm Bay Fire Department Engine 4, District 1, and Brevard County Fire Rescue District 8 members responded to an airplane crash at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Monday. PALM BAY POLICE: Barricaded Armed Man Killed After Opening Fire On SWAT Team Members

Palm Bay police officials reported that a barricaded armed man was killed after opening fire on SWAT team members about 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening. According to police, officers were called about a domestic disturbance, and Palm Bay Police SWAT team members were then called to the scene and cordoned off the area in the 700 block of Scotia Avenue after the armed man was pointing a firearm at his family members.
