Cape Canaveral Man Dies After Motorcycle Crash With Pickup Truck on S.R 520

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – A motorcyclist has died following a Sunday morning September 17 crash with another motorist that occurred in the 400 block of S.R 520.
Cocoa Beach Police responded to the eastbound lanes of West Cocoa Beach Causeway near the relief bridge at 5:37 A.M., in reference to a traffic crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
The operator of the motorcycle, a 38-year-old man from Cape Canaveral, impacted the rear of a pickup truck as both vehicles were traveling east on S.R 520. The motorcycle operator was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the pickup, Blake Brock, of Rockledge, 39, was uninjured.
The identity of the motorcycle operator has been withheld pending notification to next of kin.
This investigation is ongoing.
