Florida Tech Panthers Men’s Soccer Moves Up to No.3 in Latest National Poll

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Florida Tech Panthers continue to climb in the national poll, moving up two spots this week.

This is Florida Tech’s highest national ranking since 1994.

The Panthers went 1-0-1 in week two after a 1-1 draw against Saint Leo and a 2-1 victory over the Flagler Saints.

Tech salvaged a draw against Saint Leo when Ettore Casadei tallied his third goal of the season in the 59th minute to keep the Panthers undefeated.

Osvaldo Santana scored both goals in the win over the Saints. Santana scored his first goal of the match in the 32nd minute. Five minutes later, Santana was able to find the back of the net once more, tallying his fourth goal of the season.

The Panthers have held their opponents to 17.5 shots (6.0 per game) through four games.

The Panthers will travel to Winter Park tomorrow, Sept. 13 to take on No.12 Rollins. Kick-off is set for 6PM.
