Eastern Florida State College Baseball Program Releases 2024 Schedule in New Citrus Conference

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team has released their 2024 regular season schedule. The Titans will play 50 games this season including an expanded 33 Citrus Conference games.
Eastern Florida State College will open the regular season with a weekend series against South Georgia State. The first game of the three-game series on Friday, Jan. 26 will also be the home opener for the Titans.
The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 27 beginning at 1 p.m. at Bruce Bochy Field.
The Citrus Conference will now consist of 12 teams and will consist of doubleheaders on Saturday with the first game being seven innings and then the second game a nine-inning game.
The Titans will battle the College of Central Florida, Daytona State College, Florida Southwestern State, Hillsborough CC, Indian River State, Miami Dade, Polk State, Santa Fe, Seminole State College, St. Petersburg, and the State College of Florida, Manatee.
The Titans will open the conference schedule on Thursday, Feb. 15 at home against Hillsborough Community College at 4 p.m.
Eastern Florida State College will play the defending national champion College of Central Florida in a three-game series in February. They will open the series in Ocala on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. and then host the defending champions on Saturday, Feb. 24 in a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
The Titans will be home eight times in March and then six more times in April, wrapping up the regular season with a three-game series against Miami Dade College.
The Titans will host the Sharks on Thursday, April 25 at 5 p.m. and then travel to Miami for a doubleheader Saturday, April 27 beginning at 1 p.m.
The top five teams in the Citrus Conference will advance to Regionals beginning May 3 with a sixth team playing for a spot with a team from the Panhandle Conference. The championship round is scheduled to begin on May 10.
