BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Viera Hawks girl’s soccer season ended on Wednesday after falling to the East Lake Eagles 1-0 in the FHSAA Class 6A District 7 State Semifinals in Deland.

Viera claimed the regional championship over Oviedo after defeating the Lions 2-1.

The Hawks were the No. 1 seed and concluded their season with a 16-2-1 overall record this season.

How they got to the State Semifinals:

■ The Hawks cruised past Lakeland 5-0 in the regional quarterfinals

■ In the regional semifinals Viera defeated West Boca Raton 5-2

■ The Hawks clinched a State Semifinals berth after defeating Oviedo 2-1
