Two-Time Defending State Champion Cocoa Tigers to Play National Powerhouse IMG Academy Week 3

Tigers open season at home vs Titusville Terriers

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The two-time defending state champion Cocoa Tigers have announced their 2024 football schedule as the Tigers look to win the state championship for a third straight year.

The schedule will not be easy, especially at the beginning. The Tigers will battle two Florida defending state champion teams (Mainland – Class 3S and Madonna -Class 1M) and now add national powerhouse IMG Academy to their schedule after originally having Chaminade scheduled.

Aug. 30: AT MAINLAND (Defending State Champion Class 3S)
Sept. 6: AT IMG ACADEMY
Sept. 13:  VS HERITAGE
Sept. 20: AT VENICE
Sept. 27: BYE
Oct. 4: VS MIAMI NORLAND
Oct. 11: AT APOPKA
Oct. 18: VS ASTRONAUT
Oct. 25: AT VILLAGES
Nov. 1: VS ROCKLEDGE (BBQ BOWL)

The Tigers will have a lot key players back from last year’s team that finished with 14-1 overall record. QB Brady Hart (junior – 3,760 passing yards, 41 touchdowns), WR Jayvan Boggs (senior – 86 receptions, 1,504 yards and 24 touchdowns) and DE Javion Hilson (90 tackles, 14 sacks, and three forced fumbles.)
