BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The event that took place yesterday at the Veteran’s Memorial Center was for all first responders and their families and is a true testament to the love and support we see every day from this great community.

From food to games, live entertainment and wild animals, there was something for everyone.

With this Florida heat, of course I had to bring the dunk tank so Junny and I could stay cool, and I must say, there are a lot of people with good aim because there was never a moment that we were dry.

The fun didn’t stop there, at one point we lost Junny in the foam party, but thankfully there were a few kids about eye level with him that were able to help locate him and lead him out.

I can’t thank enough the amazing volunteers and members of Back Brevard Heroes, and all of the businesses that sponsored the event to make this incredible day possible, year after year.

As I always say, we are blessed to work in a community that loves us, trusts us, and protects us, just as much as we love, trust, and protect them, and days like yesterday are the exclamation point on just how true that statement is.
