CareerSource Brevard Now Offering Scholarships for Free Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program

CNA employment expected to grow 8% through 2030
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Individuals looking to enter a career that is rewarding and has strong job growth can find both as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Scholarships for a free program that provides education and training for CNA certification are available from CareerSource Brevard.
Healthcare is a high-demand job sector, with a major surge in senior care. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, CNA employment is expected to grow by 8% through 2030, and employment of Registered Nurses is projected to grow by 6%.
CNA Training can be completed in just six weeks, so graduates get a quick start on a new career. Participants get help every step of the way, connecting them to services they may need to succeed, such as housing, transportation childcare support, career guidance, mentorship, and more.
After one year of working as a CNA, graduates may be eligible for a scholarship to progress into other nursing jobs, such as Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse, or pursue other healthcare job training such as Medical Technician, Patient Care Technician, Administrator, and more.
