BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – With a week to go, the 2024 ‘Dancing for the Space Coast’ dancers are finalizing their final dance routines with their dance instructors for Brevard County’s largest charity event on June 1 at Florida Tech’s Clemente Center.
With a sold out crowd ready to pack inside the Clemente Center this year, one of the dancers in this year’s event is entrepreneur Tracey Latshaw.
Tracey Latshaw is an entrepreneur and philanthropist in the Brevard County community, where she has resided since relocating from New Jersey 36 years ago.
Tracey co-owns the family-operated Brevard County Hyundai dealerships, Coastal Hyundai and Cocoa Hyundai, which have flourished in the community for more than three decades.
Passed down by her father and former owner, Bruce Nelson Sr., the dealerships continue a legacy of community engagement rooted in his deep commitment to service.
Tracey honors her father’s legacy through her work. She has passionately served on the board of Candlelighters of Brevard County for 19 years, spearheading numerous initiatives to support families affected by pediatric cancer. Additionally, she supports a variety of other causes, including the Brevard Zoo and the Toys for Kids program.
The Brevard County Hyundai Dealers were the title sponsors for The Tim Wakefield Golf Tournament and for seven years, the Jam event, which benefited Space Coast Discovery School.
This year, Tracey will participate in the Dancing for the Space Coast event, dedicating her performance to the memory of her cherished friends Tim and Stacy Wakefield. All funds she raises will be directed towards building the Space Coast Primary School campus, which will be named in their honor.
Tracey is happily married to her husband Kris for 28 years. They share a passion for wine, travel, and spending time with their close-knit family and friends.

BRAGGING RIGHTS ON THE LINE
Each celebrity dancer will be matched up with a professional dancer as they compete in a ballroom dance – and for bragging rights as the best dancer in Brevard.
On the evening of the competition, each dance pair will compete in a choreographed ballroom dance that will be scored by a panel of judges. During the show, couples will earn scores based on several technical skill factors, but the judges’ scores alone don’t decide the dancer’s final score.
