Brevard County, Cocoa and Merritt Island Fire Crews Extinguish Shed Fire on Kipling Drive

One shed was a total loss, another was heavily damaged

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue Crews from stations 29, 26, 24 and 44, along with the Cocoa Fire Department, Merritt Island Volunteer Fire Department, Training 1, and District 20 extinguished a shed fire on Kipling Drive in Cocoa.

According to officials, the shed fire extended to the brush, then to another shed and the rear of the structure.

One shed was a total loss and the other was heavily damaged.

“Crews made a good stop on a third shed and a good stop on the fire getting inside the home, the cause remains under investigation,” said a Brevard County Fire Rescue spokesperson.
