South Florida Woman Dies After Rollover Crash in Cocoa, Two Children Injured

Florida Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Tuesday after the driver of the vehicle lost control of the vehicle on I-95 and crashed into a utility pole in Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Tuesday after the driver of the vehicle lost control of the vehicle on I-95 and crashed into a utility pole in Cocoa.

Authorities say a 22-year-old woman from Fort Lauderdale , who was a passenger inside the 1999 Toyota Camry, died as a result of her injuries sustained in the crash.

Among the people inside the vehicle were an one-month-old infant that was seriously injured and a two-year-old boy who was also seriously injured.

The driver of the vehicle is identified as 23-year-old man from Fort Lauderdale. Another passenger inside the vehicle was a 19-year-old woman from Fort Lauderdale. Both were not injured in the crash.

Investigators say the vehicle flipped several times after crashing into the utility pole.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by FHP.
