BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – While other performing groups break for the summer, the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra is keeping to their year-round schedule.
Two weeks after concluding their 15th anniversary season, the orchestra raises the curtain on 2024-25 with Broadway Classics, Saturday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m., at the Scott Center for the Performing Arts, 5625 Holy Trinity Drive in north Melbourne.
The concert is an exhilarating musical journey through Broadway’s greatest hits.
The audience will return to the golden age of Broadway with show-stopping pieces from Mary Poppins, South Pacific, Evita, The King and I, Carousel, Grease, An American in Paris, Miss Saigon, and more.
$35 tickets for the Broadway Classics concert are available through the orchestra website at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org or at Marine Bank & Trust in Suntree.
Never one to rest, Space Coast Symphony Orchestra Conductor and Artistic Director, Aaron T. Collins knows his Space Coast Symphony will delight the audience with a concert of Broadway Classics.
“We’ve had two weeks to rest and now it’s time to get season 16 underway,” said Collins. “And there’s just no better way to do that than with time-honored Broadway favorites.”
The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra is one of only a handful of U.S. orchestras to perform year-round. Concertgoers aged 18 and under or with a college ID are admitted free to every SCSO concert.
