BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – While “Air Jordan” played for the Bulls, our dog “Tear Jordan” don’t take no bull as he was more than happy to tear a bite out of crime for our great partners at the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident happened yesterday afternoon when FHP requested assistance from our agency regarding a vehicle pursuit and a suspect that had exited the vehicle and fled on foot!!
K-9 Deputy John “Deco” Decossaux and his trusty partner “Jordan” answered the call for assistance near Satellite Blvd. in Cocoa and subsequently tracked the suspect, Micah Hawk, to a nearby wooded area.
Of course Hawk wasn’t smart enough to obey lawful commands so “Jordan,” who we now call “Tear Jordan” helped himself to a hawk leg and later told Deco that it actually tasted like chicken.
Hawk was charged by FHP Trooper A.J. Acquafredda with fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer at a high speed, reckless driving, possession of marijuana over 20g, and delivery of synthetic cannabinoids!!
Great job by FHP, Deputy Decossaux, and of course K-9 “Tear Jordan” who took a bite out of crime!
And yes, in case you were wondering we washed out “Jordan’s” mouth with Listerine so as to make sure he didn’t get dirtbagitis and also Deco bought him an order of Chick-fil-A nuggets so he could see what real chicken tastes like!
