Former Melbourne Bulldog, Rice Forward Max Fiedler Signs with the Philadelphia 76ers

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Former Melbourne Bulldog, Rice basketball standout Max Fiedler signed with the Philadelphia 76ers as an undrafted free agent for the NBA Summer League.
Fielder concluded his collegiate career as the only player in NCAA Division I basketball history to record 1,000 career points, 1,000 rebounds, 500 assists, 100 blocks, and 100 steals.
He also became the second player at Rice University with 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.
Fielder graduated from Melbourne High School in 2019 where he averaged 21.6 points per game along with 14 rebounds at center. He also received the Florida Dairy Farmers Class 8A Player of the Year.
His first game as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers g-league team will be against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, July 8 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN
