BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Almost every day our citizens hear me say “It Takes A Community To Protect A Community” and this is the perfect example of what that looks like.
Earlier today, Andy Procell, the owner of Freedom Air, agreed to donate several massive air conditioning units and all of the installation needs to air condition the dog kennel area of our Animal Care Center on West Eau Gallie Blvd.
I always see Andy and his Freedom Air Team at various community events, so I decided to ask him to partner with us to air condition the kennel area of our Animal Care Center and he immediately agreed to do so without hesitation!! Andy is an animal lover himself and earlier today, he and Bill came out to the center and did a site inspection to see exactly what was needed to make it happen.
After the site inspection and a few phone calls Andy told me he would take care of it and get the ball rolling so our kennel runs would have air conditioning as soon as installation of the units could take place!! While this is a huge and costly undertaking, Andy and Bill didn’t hesitate to start making it happen as they immediately started figuring out how to facilitate the installation of the units.
Folks, I learned a long time ago that what truly makes a difference in a community are friendships, relationships, and partnerships, and this new partnership with Freedom Air is just what we needed to keep our dogs and staff cool at the Animal Care Center.
Please join me in thanking Andy, Bill, and the entire Freedom Air Team for their extremely generous donation to our care center and for their compassion for homeless pets throughout our community!
