13th Annual Tuxes & Tails Gala Set for September 21 at Radisson Resort at the Port

Celebrating Brevard Humane Society’s 72nd Anniversary
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Brevard Humane Society announces its 13th Annual Tuxes & Tails Gala, on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This year, this fabulous event will take place at the Radisson Resort at the Port, located at 8701 Astronaut Blvd in Cape Canaveral.
This year’s Gala marks a significant milestone, not only celebrating the Brevard Humane Society’s 72 years of dedicated service in providing shelter and a safe haven for homeless animals, but more importantly, the evening will underscore the power of community solidarity and the positive impact of collective efforts toward a shared cause as the proceeds from this event will help rebuild the aging 62-year-old animal shelter on Cox Road in Cocoa.
The gala is generously presented by Subaru of Melbourne and supported by esteemed sponsors including Lite Rock 99.3, Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse, Jon’s Fine Jewelry, Victory Casino Cruises, among others. Various sponsorship packages are available, such as the “Titanium Sponsor” and “Tail Wagger” tiers, offering benefits like reserved and VIP seating, sponsorship recognition, and pet tickets.
Attendees can also become a “Fur-lanthropist” to enjoy premiere seating for two guests and two pets, along with special swag bags.
The evening’s proceedings will be once again hosted by Mindy Levy from Lite Rock 99.3 FM, who will serve as the Master of Ceremonies, and the Wasdin Family will serve as honorary hosts.
Many special appearances will be presented throughout the evening, such as community philanthropist auctioneer, Johnny Wiedmann of Wiedmann Roofing & Construction. Entertainment will include the Showtime Band among many other surprise performers!
