BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Four Brevard County men have been arrested in connection to a recent violent altercation between two motorcycle gangs that occurred on Friday, July 12, 2024, at approximately 6 p.m. in the intersection of S. Washington Ave. (US-1) and Cheney Hwy. (SR-50).
The preliminary investigation revealed three members of the Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, illegally converged into the southbound lanes of the intersection, blocked traffic, and denied a member of the Warlocks Outlaw Motorcycle Gang access.
The Warlock member dismounted his motorcycle as he was confronted by the three Mongols members, who had blocked him in with their motorcycles.
Subsequently, the Mongols members physically attacked him in the roadway and median. The Warlock member retrieved a firearm concealed on his person and fired off rounds prompting all four of the suspects to flee the scene before officers arrived.
There were no reported injuries.
An extensive investigation, including digital evidence provided by witnesses, led by the Titusville Police Department, with the support of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Game Over Task Force, the FBI Tampa Division’s Brevard County Resident Agency, The Brevard County State Attorney’s Office, and the Florida Department of Corrections Titusville Probation Office, resulted in the identification and arrest of the four suspects.
“This successful outcome is a testament to the collaborative efforts of local and federal law enforcement agencies, along with multiple citizens who witnessed the incident,” said the lead detective in this case, Detective Brandon Williams. “Our agency extends its gratitude to all those who contributed to ensuring those responsible for this violent disturbance will face justice,” added Williams.
