OBITUARY: Patsy Lou Abele Bosley, 93, Passed Away Aug. 24, Moved to Cocoa Beach in 1978

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Patsy Lou Abele Bosley passed away peacefully at Cape Canaveral Hospital on August 24, 2024 at the age of 93.
Pat will be remembered as a loving wife to Lee and a devoted mother to her children Bill and Julie and her daughter-in-law Heidi. She also was an adoring grammy to her grandchildren Bradley (wife Mili), Billy (wife Meg), and Thomas (wife Vivianne). She recently became a proud great-grammy to Becca and Wynn.
She was predeceased by her parents William and Peg Abele, her baby son Brad, and her loving husband Lee.
Pat was born in Sandusky, Ohio on April 14, 1931. She lived in Toledo, Akron, and Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio before moving to Galion, Ohio in 1961.
She raised her family in Galion, until Lee’s job brought them to Cocoa Beach, Florida in 1978. She fell in love with Cocoa Beach and never wanted to leave. She was a member of Cocoa Beach Community Church for over 40 years.
Pat was admired as a woman who loved her family intensely and always put them first. She viewed her greatest accomplishments as being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She delighted in being a homemaker during all her adult life.
She added a special touch to every holiday and celebratory occasion, making them magical, memorable and filled with love. Her loved ones will miss their family matriarch forever.
In recent years, Pat was compassionately cared for at home by her daughter Julie, along with Avid Home Care Services, Advanced Healthcare Integration, Pinnacle Home Care, VITAS Healthcare, and special friends.
The family will be forever grateful to the home care and medical experts who helped Pat be able to stay in her home until the last few days of her life. She is now at peace in heaven enjoying eternal life with our Lord.
A Memorial Reception for friends and family will take place at Beckman-Williamson Funeral home at 101 N. Brevard Avenue in Cocoa Beach on Friday, September 20 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The service and burial at Florida Memorial Gardens will be private for the family.
