UPDATE: Health First’s Cape Canaveral Hospital to Reopen Today at 2 p.m., Including Emergency Services

Patients were transported to other Health First Hospitals

After final state inspections, Health First’s Cape Canaveral Hospital plans re-open today at 2 p.m. including Emergency Services. With the anticipated impact of Hurricane Milton on Brevard County, and for the safety of our patients and associates, Cape Canaveral Hospital was closed and evacuated on Tuesday, Oct. 8, and 28 patients were safely re-admitted to other Health First hospitals in Brevard County.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – After final state inspections, Health First’s Cape Canaveral Hospital plans re-open today at 2 p.m. including Emergency Services.

With the anticipated impact of Hurricane Milton on Brevard County, and for the safety of our patients and associates, Cape Canaveral Hospital was closed and evacuated on Tuesday, Oct. 8, and 28 patients were safely re-admitted to other Health First hospitals in Brevard County.

Prior to the arrival of Hurricane Milton on the Space Coast, patients were transported to Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Health First’s Palm Pay Hospital and Health First’s Viera Hospital, along with other Space Coast area hospitals.
