Crew Dragon Endeavour is the first operational Crew Dragon reusable spacecraft manufactured and operated by SpaceX.
It first launched in May 2020 to the International Space Station. It has subsequently been used for the SpaceX Crew-2 mission that launched in April 2021, the private Axiom Mission 1 that launched in April 2022, and the SpaceX Crew-6 mission that launched in March 2023.
It is currently in orbit after launching the SpaceX Crew-8 mission in March 2024. The capsule was named after Space Shuttle Endeavour. As of August 2024, Endeavour holds the record for the most time in orbit by a crewed spacecraft.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A Hurricane Warning is now in efffect for Brevard County – a Hurricane Warning means hurricane-force winds are expected somewhere within Space Coast within the next 36 hours.
■ Wind Speed: Equivalent Cat 1 Hurricane force wind, Peak Wind Forecast of 55-75 mph with gusts to 85 mph.
■ Window for Tropical Storm force winds: Wednesday evening until Thursday evening.
■ Window for Hurricane force winds: early Thursday morning until Thursday afternoon. Some roads impassable from large debris, and more within urban or heavily wooded places. Several bridges, causeways, and access routes impassable. Large areas with power and communications outages.
■ STORM SURGE: Localized storm surge possible – Peak Storm Surge Inundation: The potential for up to 2 feet above ground somewhere within surge prone areas, Wednesday afternoon until Friday afternoon. Plan for storm surge flooding greater than 1 foot above ground. Complete preparations for storm surge flooding, especially in low-lying vulnerable areas, before conditions become unsafe.
■ Flood Watch is in effect, Peak Rainfall Amounts: Additional 4-8 inches, with locally higher amounts.
■ Situation is favorable for tornadoes, listen for tornado watches and warnings. If a tornado warning is issued, be ready to shelter quickly.
A Local State of Emergency is in effect for Brevard County in response to the pending threat of Hurricane Milton, which is now a Category 4 hurricane slowly churning toward the west coast of Florida with a projected impact as a Category 1 hurricane in Brevard County starting Wednesday about 10 p.m. through late Thursday at 2 p.m.

Sandbag Sites open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8:
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – In anticipation of the potential impacts from Hurricane Milton, Brevard County will offer free sandbags for residents beginning 8 a.m. Tuesday.
■ Chain of Lakes Park, 2300 Truman Scarborough Way, Titusville, FL 32796.
■ Mitch Ellington Park, 577 Hall Road, Merritt Island, FL, 32953. Enter from West Hall Road.
■ Wickham Park, 2500 Parkway Dr., Melbourne, FL 32935. Enter using south access from Parkway Dr.
■ Eastern Florida State College-Palm Bay Campus, 250 Community College Parkway SE Palm Bay, 32909
Sand is being provided by Brevard County Public Works and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will have supervised inmate work crews filling and loading sandbags for residents.
Residents do not need to bring sandbags, bags are provided and filled by on-site personnel. There is a limit of 10 sandbags per vehicle. Please be aware, lines may be closed earlier than 6 p.m. to ensure a timely closure.
