BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Suntree Viera Youth Football League (SVYFL) NFL Flag Football, the largest youth flag football league in Brevard County, announced open registration for the 2025 Winter season is now underway.

Following the NFL FLAG Regular Season Rulebook, SVYFL offers boys and girls a safe, inclusive, and non-contact flag football experience.
SVYFL NFL Flag Football provides a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where over 450 athletes participate annually. Parents continually praise the league for offering a stress-free way for kids to enjoy the game of football without the pressures of intense tackle competition.
The league recreates that classic “backyard football” atmosphere, supported by trained coaches, established rules, and a commitment to player safety.
In the most recent Fall Flag season, SVYFL NFL Flag Football hosted 32 teams, reflecting the league’s tremendous enthusiasm and growth.
Every player in SVYFL gets a chance to shine. Whether throwing, catching, or running the ball, players experience equal opportunities to learn the game’s fundamentals, fostering teamwork and accomplishment.

SVYFL NFL Flag Football Highlights:
■ Inclusive Environment: Open to boys and girls, with player age determined by the age as of August 1 of the previous year.
■ Teams and Age Groups: Nine-player teams (subject to final registration numbers) are grouped into age divisions: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U.
■ Field Locations: All games are played at Viera Regional Park on four fields designed to meet NFL Flag standards.
■ Winter Season: Runs from mid-January through late February 2025, offering excellent preparation for Spring sports.
