BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue had three structure fire calls in less than 5 minutes, including a second alarm fire in Cocoa.
Brevard County Fire Rescue faced a challenging and rapid sequence of emergencies, responding to three structure fire calls within a span of less than five minutes. Among these was a significant second-alarm fire in Cocoa, which demanded extensive resources and coordination.
The response included multiple fire engines—Engines 26, 29, 24, 40, and 48—as well as several rescue units—Rescues 26, 29, 24, and 44. Specialized support from Hazmat 1 and Districts 20 and 45 leadership were also dispatched.
To further bolster the efforts, the Titusville Fire Department joined the response team.
The fires resulted in the destruction of two modular homes and a travel trailer. Remarkably, despite the intensity of the incidents and the damage sustained, there were no injuries reported.
The swift and coordinated actions of the firefighters and emergency responders undoubtedly played a critical role in preventing further losses.
