BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Caroline Johnson passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, at the age of 39, after a courageous battle with cancer. Caroline was a beloved sister, daughter, fiancée, aunt, and friend whose unwavering spirit, infectious smile, and compassionate heart touched the lives of everyone she met.
Born September 26, 1985, in Washington, D.C., Caroline was known for her kindness, humor, selflessness, sincerity, and enduring optimism. She pursued her education at the University of Central Florida (UCF), earning a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies.
Caroline excelled as an account executive for Center Well Home Health, achieving numerous milestones and receiving recognition throughout her career, including the prestigious President’s Club Award. She was renowned for her ability to exceed expectations, consistently grow her business, and introduce innovative ideas.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Caroline embraced life with passion and joy. She cherished time with her fiancé, Austin, and their beloved dogs, Butters and Maui. Whether playing golf, relaxing by the water, or tending to her garden-especially her desert roses and succulents-Caroline found happiness in nature and simple pleasures.
She loved creating memories during weekend getaways to Universal Studios, backyard barbecues with family, and annual winter vacations in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Caroline delighted in making people happy, singing karaoke, traveling, and nurturing her garden.
Her family treasures her strength and unwavering determination. Caroline was a warrior, a fighter, a lover, and an inspiration. No matter the challenge, she faced it with a smile that could light up any room, bringing joy to those around her. She truly was the light that made this world brighter.
Caroline is survived by her loving family: her mother, Joan Johnson; her stepfather, Jim McVerry; her sisters, Stephanie (Pascal) Meteyer, Monica (Scott) Chelidona, and Amelia Johnson; her brother, Edward (Kaori) Johnson; and her devoted fiancé, Austin Kempa. She was predeceased by her father, Curt Johnson, whom she dearly missed.
Caroline will be remembered for her radiant personality, infectious smile, compassionate heart, and boundless love. Her strength and spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
