Eastern Florida State College Women’s Basketball Prepares to Face Daytona State College

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team will open the Citrus Conference season Monday night at Titan Field House.
The three-time defending conference champions will open the 2024-25 campaign against Daytona State College at 5:30 p.m. on the Melbourne campus.
Eastern Florida State College comes into the conference opener 7-1 on the season and ranked No. 19 in the NJCAA Division I National Poll.
The Titans are led by freshman Karen Nimo, who scored 15.9 points and grabbed 5.9 rebounds per game this season. Lynn Rieth averages 12 points per game, while Jalei O’Neal averages 10.4 points per game.
Daytona State College is 2-6 heading into the conference season and has three players averaging nine points a game or more. Destinie Gordon leads the Falcons with 11 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, while Brya Arroyo-Gillcrese and Kyaija Stewart average nine points.
The Titans head into the Citrus Conference season with a 46-game win streak in the conference.
