BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team finished off a perfect weekend in Georgia, defeating South Georgia State College on Saturday at the B-Mac’s Christmas Classic.

The No. 24 ranked Titans evened the season series with the Hawks, leading from start to finish to pick up the 74-62 victory.

Eastern Florida State College jumped out to a quick 10-point lead as Fredy-Salam Sylla had six of the team’s first 15 points as the Titans led by as much as 21 points. They would head to the locker room leading 40-26.

South Georgia State College came out strong in the second half by Sylla would score the first eight points for the Titans to keep the lead in double figures.

With under two minutes left the Titans lead was under 10 but the Titans would make five of the six free throws down the stretch to improve to 10-2 on the season.

Sylla finished with 18 points while Wesley Isoje finished with his second double-double of the season, scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Emondrek Erkins-Ford had 11 points and Felipe Patino finished with 10.

The Titans will go on holiday break until they host Keep Striving Prep on Dec. 31 at Titan Field House.
