I attended one of his training sessions with my wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, on the day of her 21st birthday. That was about seven years ago, and we’ve never looked back since. His teachings and mentorship have shaped my approach and success in this field.

A particularly memorable moment that stands out is a deal I closed this year. It involved selling a package of 34 houses in Illinois to an investor, which resulted in a profit of $397,000. This deal significantly boosted my confidence and helped shape my business to what it is today. We celebrated with friends and family, and it was a night I’ll never forget.

What is the biggest challenge you have faced in your career, and how did you overcome it?

One of my biggest challenges was dealing with the fallout from getting involved in the flea market business, which led to a run-in with the FBI in 2019. It was a setback that consumed four years of my life. However, this experience taught me valuable lessons about focusing on my real estate ambitions. I wish I had started earlier and avoided that detour, but nonetheless, it molded me into the resilient person I am today.

Personally, I prioritize honesty, integrity, and loyalty. I strive to always tell the truth and maintain transparency. Professionally, I carry the same values in my business dealings. I would advise my younger self to stay clear of the flea market business, which led to unnecessary challenges. Additionally, I would encourage starting sooner in real estate investing. If I had begun right after my uncle’s training without hesitation, I could have achieved even more in my career.

Our business model has affected many lives by providing opportunities for homeownership without the traditional qualifications. Many times, I’ve witnessed buyers in tears at my office, overwhelmed with joy because we gave them a chance they never thought possible. One poignant instance was when a buyer’s house caught fire, and we covered the damages to ensure she remained in her home. Her gratitude affirmed the impact of our work.

How do you define success?

I define success as achieving financial freedom. It means being able to provide for my family and allowing my wife to stay home with our child without needing to work. For us, success is deeply intertwined with financial freedom through real estate investing.

On a personal level, I cherish the strong relationship I have with my wife. We share everything, from our work to our personal lives. Professionally, I am proud of the extensive property portfolio I’ve built. Currently owning 200 single-family homes and all of which are cash-flowing.
