Surfing Santas Event Returns to Cocoa Beach for Christmas Eve Morning

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Surfing Santas is an annual Cocoa Beach tradition on Christmas Eve morning this year on Tuesday, December 24.
Organized by Surfing Santas of Cocoa Beach, this event brings hundreds of surfers of all ages and thousands of spectators annually.
Attendees and participants can be seen dressed up as Santa, Elves, Snowmen, and everything in between. The costumes are as diverse as the people who wear them.
Watch them ride in on the waves and kick off your holiday beach-side at this free event that benefits local, charitable causes.
This is a Family friendly event, with all kinds of entertainment on stage and in the ocean.
Join us on the beach at 3 Minutemen Causeway in Cocoa Beach. from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Since 2013, Surfing Santas has raised more than $90,000 for charity through donations collected at the Dec. 24 gathering and from sales of official Surfing Santas T-shirts.
All proceeds benefit the work of two local organizations: Grind for Life and the Florida Surf Museum. Grind for Life is a cancer support group whose mission is to provide financial assistance to cancer patients and their families when they travel long distances to visit doctors and hospitals.
