BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach turns 100 years old and will host Centennial Celebration Event Downtown on Independence Day Weekend 2025.
Established on June 5, 1925, the City of Cocoa Beach came to life during the 1960s due to America’s space program.
NASA’s John F. Kennedy Space Center is approximately 15 miles away, and the city has become home to many young families where one or both parents have worked on some aspect of the space program.
Cocoa Beach and the surrounding towns were full of the best and brightest technical minds, and today, many Kennedy Space Center workers still call Cocoa Beach home.
Known for its public street parties, Downtown Cocoa Beach promises an activity-packed weekend for the Centennial Celebration, July 5 – 6.
