BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA– Wednesday’s Words of Wisdom: The Fast Lane Is NOT For Crime.
Here are some words of wisdom that we believe will help keep everyone safe, even when it’s dark outside and you’re going almost twice the speed limit…WE CAN STILL SEE YOU!
Kyle Falwell learned that the hard way yesterday morning when Deputy Darien Fedro was conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 1 in Titusville.
Deputy Fedro saw an orange motorcycle coming in hot as he clocked it going 91 mph in a 55 mph zone.
As soon as Falwell, the driver, saw Deputy Fedro he tried to pump the brakes, but it was a little too late for that.
Once Falwell stopped the bike, Deputy Fedro began talking to him and he immediately said that his license was suspended and he he’s never had a motorcycle endorsement.
A check of his history showed Falwell was at least being honest about stuff as he already had 2 previous Driving While License Suspended (DWLS) convictions.
Ultimately, Falwell was arrested for DWLS 2nd or subsequent offense and operating a motorcycle without an endorsement, so he took a slow and safe ride in one of our courtesy shuttles to “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” on a $1,000 bond!
Folks it’s pretty simple, you do the crime you’ll do the time in Brevard County, whether it’s speeding, drugs, or any other law you break, we have zero tolerance for all of it!
